APPROVED DIODE LASER

Two wavelengths and skin cooling
laser delivery according to hair and skin condition

MeDioStar MONOLITH is a medical device for long-term hair reduction with 808 nm and 940 nm diode laser. Laser energy is absorbed by melanin in the hair and uses heat to act on hair-producing tissue.

It has a contact cooling function that cools the skin surface, and broad areas can be treated continuously, while narrow areas or dense hair can be treated one shot at a time.

  • Domestically approved medical device for long-term hair reduction
  • Simultaneous delivery of 808 nm and 940 nm wavelengths
  • 360° contact cooling at the skin surface
  • Two delivery modes: gliding heat-accumulation and single-shot
HOW IT WORKS

About MeDioStar MONOLITH

Rather than treating every area with the same settings, the delivery method is selected according to hair thickness, density, and skin condition.

SMOOTH PULSE

Gliding heat-accumulation mode

The handpiece is moved across the skin while lower-energy pulses gradually build heat around the hair follicles. This mode is also used for broad areas such as the back, arms, and legs.

  • Efficient treatment of broad areas
  • Helps limit sudden heat sensation
  • May be selected for fine or vellus hair
BASIC PULSE

Single-shot mode

Each pulse is placed individually while its position is checked. This mode is used for dense hair and smaller areas such as the beard, VIO area, and underarms.

  • Targets smaller areas precisely
  • Settings are adjusted according to hair density and skin response.
  • Cooling is used to help manage discomfort
808nmA central wavelength that reacts to melanin and delivers heat around the hair follicles
+
940nmA wavelength that is absorbed by hemoglobin in the blood, which is easier to reach deeper

This section explains the characteristics of the wavelengths and delivery modes. Settings are selected after the hair, skin tone, treatment area, and treatment history are assessed.
